Can SAT help GPA at UCLA

Hello, so basically I have a high SAT, 1490/1510 SS, and my gpa for UC is 4.1 because I go to an extremely competitive school that is stingy with As. Will my GPA keep me out of UCLA or berkeley? I’m also in state btw

OMG you’re gonna be fine calm down. :slight_smile: As long as your extracurriculars and essays are as strong as your stats, you should be getting acceptance letters this spring.

UCs do appear to weight GPA more heavily than test scores, so both UCLA and UCB should be considered reaches. Your test score heavy profile may be more likely to be admitted to USC than UCLA. USC’s frosh profile shows lower GPA but higher test scores than UCLA’s frosh profile.
