<p>Just recently I got rejected from my dream school…and I am very depressed. Can some one please tell me my chances for NW.</p>

GPA: 3.63/4.56
ACT: 33
SAT II’s: 740 IIC, 710 Chem, 680 Bio, 640 Writing.
SAT: 1380 </p>

<p>2 research papers. one in chem, other in mol. bio
siemens semi fianlist</p>

<p>teach. recs: good/decent
cons. rec: not that good</p>

<p>Other: came to U.S. only 5 years ago with 1st. grade English knowledge.</p>

<p>Sorry to hear that. I am a non-native speaker also and I understand how sometime people don’t seem to give credit for what we have achieved. Anyway, you definitely have a fighting chance. While your SAT I score is a bit below average (1398 for NU and 1420 for Mccomick), your research experience should make you pretty competitive. Write good essay cos NU gives a lot of weight to that.</p>
