Can someone check my grammar before I submit my common app?

So, there is one section in the common app that I have to explain how I got “education interruption”
Since I came from Korea, even though I was born in 1997, I’m still a senior while other people who were born in 1997 are mostly in college already if they started their school at right age.

On December, 2010, I moved to the U.S. from Korea with my family. My parents wanted to start a new life in new country with better education system for me and my brother. Since Korea and the U.S. have different education system, (Korea school year ends on January) although I was almost at the end of my 7th grade course, I had to be in 7th grade again when I arrived in the U.S. because technically I did not finish the course.

Even after my family settled in the U.S., we continued to move every few years because my family was on the process of adjusting ourselves in this new country. On December of 2011, I moved to Lanier Middle School from Luther Jackson Middle School. And on November of 2013, I moved to Osbourn Park High School from Fairfax high School.
