Can someone help post a conversion table?

Hi everyone!!

I’ve recently taken the SAT last year in December and got a 2160 (M 800, R 710, W 650). I retook this october and I’m hoping for at least a 2250 (M 800, R 720, W 730). The problem is, I don’t know if it is high enough for my dream school. Could someone post a conversion table from SATs to OWLs? I feel like my 800 in Math might help my Potions and Ancient Ruins grades, but what about DADA (Defense against the Dark Arts)? Or Care of Magical Creatures? I’ve been training but recently I’ve felt like watching netflix hasn’t been enough to prepare me for the actual world out there.

Do you think I have a chance with my SATs to get into any school, it could be mediocre I just really want to become a magician

Hogwarts may be the toughest school to get into over all the Ivies COMBINED. You have to be invited. So given that “yer a wizard”, I think that it is safe to assume 2250 hints no hiccups in your first-year class. You might have to pull some all-nighters for potions, but other than that, you should be good.

Good luck and don’t wander in the 3rd corridor…

I heard legacy status (full blood/half blood (ahem… ‘mudbloods’)/muggle) may play a role in your letter

Okay my mom is probably human but my father taught me as I was growing up that he’s “magical”. He seemed to always know the answer to my math questions and when I asked him how to solve them, he would claim it was magic. So I guess that means I’m a half blood right? Would it be frowned upon if I lied about my status and said I was a pureblood?

Also can anyone recommend me a good potions textbook so I can self-study before Wizardy school?
