I’m not making judgments, but what does someone elses opinion actually mean? Do you really care if they think this school is better than that school. It should be completely up to you. Just to give an example, my friend scored a 35 on his ACT, had a 3.98 in high school, had done a huge number of EC’s and sports…everything. He could’ve gone to any big school he wanted, but he chose Hampshire College in Massachusetts, because that was the “best” school for him.

As only a sophmore in highschool and not being from the East coast, I don’t know much about these schools, other than that I’ve heard they were very good. I was simply asking for others (perhaps with more knowledge about them) to give their opinions. Nothing more, nothing less.

Reasonable, but hey there’s nothing wrong with those west coast schools (other than the fact that they’re on the west coast ;)), Personally, look at Stanford, UC Berkeley (is that how you spell it, oh well), or some exceptionally awesome LAC’s like the Claremont McKenna group, can’t go wrong with any of those.

LOL! Was it tough to get into? If you don’t mind, can you please tell me what your GPA was, if you were involved in a lot of ECs, etc. just so I know what it would take to get into something BC/BU caliber?

Thanks again for your continued replies everyone!!

haha, well, i revieved a 3.38 at a very rigerous school…i got a 2110 on my SATs, took all available AP classes except english, i hate english, i was varsity tennis for 4 yrs, captain for one, went to Boy’s State, volunteered like crazy…thats really about it…its pretty easy to get into BU i believe…its just the tuition thats a killer…

lol…if u go to them work hard and have fun I am pretty sure you will do fine. Remember, there are stockbrokers on Wall Street who never went to college and earn more than 90% of the people who did. Also, Dick Cheney (dropped out of college) and he still succeeded. You want a good pick, go somewhere where you can stand out above the crowd, then success comes to you.
