Can someone please read this essay for Virginia Tech? I want to submit it ASAP but would like advice

Prompt:John F. Kennedy once said, “Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.” How do you feel that your experience at Virginia Tech will help foster the relationship between leadership and learning? (250 words or fewer)
I believe that leadership and learning are symbiotic in that, in order to become a leader, one must first be a student. One physical representation of Kennedy’s quote is marching band’s structure. Student leaders are the foundation in a marching band; without a solid foundation, nothing else matters. These students, however, did not enter high school as prodigies in leadership. They learned leadership from those before them and either learned from their mistakes or successes in order to contribute to the ensemble. I myself have been a section leader and a squad leader and understand what it takes for leadership to positively affect new members.
I believe that this experience could translate to the Air Force ROTC program at Virginia Tech. As freshmen, cadets are expected to learn what it takes to be a member of the Air Force and to be able to overcome any obstacles that may occur. I think that Kennedy’s quote rings true in that in order for leadership to occur, learning must happen. Likewise, in order for learning to take place, there must be leaders to educate the inexperienced. I hope to become a part of the long-standing tradition found in the AFROTC detachment 875 at Virginia Tech. Not only would I become a cadet who would learn what it takes to be an officer, but I would hope to correlate my experiences in ROTC to other applications in life requiring leadership and learning.

I read for content more so than grammar but did not see errors. I like the content. I think it’s very good. Good luck!
