I’m seriously freaking out I haven’t heard anything back from both schools but all my other friends who also applied have already heard back from them. Can this be a bad sign?
Here are some of my stats:
3.3 GPA
1300 SAT
30 ACT
3 on AP SPANISH LANG.
and the major I chose is Physics
SAT score of 1300/2400 or 1300/1600? How about HS course rigor? Other than AP Spanish, any other AP’s? No subject tests?
SAT Score of 1300/2400 and so far I’ve taken 6 AP classes passing each class with a B- or higher, I also do a lot of extracurricular activities if that helps
Hmmm maybe… But, you might have a chance depending on how good your college essay was. Extracurriculars
help so keep it up! I cannot guarantee you anything but you may have a chance.

Huge difference in SAT vs ACT scores. Did you submit both? I say you have a good chance at CPP. Your eligibility index is 960 using ACT score. For UCR, if you have solid essays and EC’s I think you have around a 50/50 chance although GPA is a concern. Both schools have waves of acceptances so you could get your answers anytime between now and April. Haven’t seen any rejections or waitlist so acceptances should still be coming.
SAT is definitely a weak point in your application. Physics is an extremely math-based major. Do you have any extracurriculars involving math or physics?
