<p>I know NW is the wildest dorms, but in terms of all the individual dorms on campus, what would be the rankings of biggest party dorm to least party dorm?</p>
<p>I’m not an expert and it probably changes every year, but i’d say:</p>

<p>^Pretty accurate. But as someone stuck in Wright, we’re definitely not tied with Foster. We’re probably a little lower than Briscoe, but definitely better than Teter and Eigenmann. Teter does have hotter girls, though…</p>

<p>If you go by the number of incident reports to population of the dorm it looks like this over the last three years:

<p>Those are the way they were from 2007-2010. Each year one might move up or down the list but McNutt is always at the top and Forest/Wilkie at the bottom. This year its changed with Briscoe under construction it may move down the list a little bit. The 2008-2009 school year Eigenman actually had, by percentage, the second highest number of incidents per population. Many things, like rule and policy changes, can alter the way dorms are setup or rules enforced. There could be a new Residence Manager who enforces policy stricter than the last causing the number of write ups to increase, or even the converse. The RA staff may move in a certain direction and they become lax or strict depending on their group dynamic. Many things could alter how crazy a dorm is. The easiest example is in 2008 IU’s new policy was that students could no longer have any empty alcohol containers in their rooms unless it was a wet dorm i.e. Wilkie and parts of Eigenman. If they did it would be an infraction and they would be written up. This, in my opinion, is what caused Eigenman to leap frog the NW dorms to second on the list that year. Overall that list above is how the dorms have been the last three years, this years stats aren’t out yet but perhaps a dorm may move up or down, who knows?</p>

Foster (Foster is made up of 5 buildings and Harper, Jenkinson, and Magee are on about equal terms of craziness. The other two house a large portion of international students so they’re not as wild. Not that I’m saying international students can’t or don’t party, that’s just how it seems to be)

<p>I don’t know much about Collins so I won’t rank it. Every dorm does have people who party, but obviously some are quieter than others. It also really depends on your floor. If you have a quiet floor, it won’t matter so much whether or not the floor above you has parties every night.</p>
<p>Where is the academic community located in NW? How would you rank it?</p>
<p>^ This year it’s in Briscoe-Gucker, but next year that building’s gonna be under construction so it’ll be somewhere else. </p>

<p>How crazy is Teter? Im applying for housing soon and have been leaning towards Teter.</p>
<p>Teter is a really good balance. It’s not AS crazy as NW but it can get wild sometimes. Everyone who I know that lives/lived there LOVES it.</p>
<p>All things considered, Teter is probably overall the best dorm at IU.</p>
