^topic. Best to worst overall please? Important factors: warmest weather, short distance from dorms to class, social scene is existant for dorm livers, not being ghetto.

Southern Oregon University
University of Montana
Montana State University: Northern
Arizona State University
California State University: Dominguez Hills
California State University: East Bay
Nevada State College
University of Washington Bothell
University of Washington Tacoma

As a higher ed professional, I’m surprised when I learn of 4-year colleges that I’ve never before heard about, but Nevada State College and University of Washington Bothell are new to me.

Arizona State- It’s A tier 1 school, but with a very high acceptance rate. It should probably be ranked lower. Still they do have some alright programs. It’s really big cxompared tothe other schools on your list. Best social atmosphere out of all the schools mentioned. Warmest weather.

University of Montana- It’s supposible a tier 3 university yet with the Western Undergraduate Exchange it is truly on the rise I think. They do have some good athletic teams, including this years National runner-ups for NCAA Division I-AA. The campus is really scenic and Missoula is safe.

Southern Oregon University- I had to put these above the two Cal State’s just because itreally seems to strives more to get better. It seems to really strive on personal attention to students. You obviously are going to have smaller classes. Like Montana the campus is very scenic. It’s obviously safe.

Cal State- East Bay- It’s cheap even for out of staters. It’s mostly a commuter school. It was originally known as CSU-Hayward. They do have three different campuses Hayward being the biggest overlooking the bay. Again nice location but most of the students don’t seem like they want to be there.

Cal State-Dominguez Hills- Again it’s cheap not as cheap as East Bay but it is closer to L.A. The students obviously are obviously there because it’s location near L.A. and much better schools. It’s more urban then some of the other schools on your list.

Montana State-Northern- The school is smaller then many of the other schools mentioned(thats campus and enrollment wise). Most of the students commute.

THe others I don’t know too much about. Bothell and Tacoma are both satelite campuses of the University of Washington, so therefore you receive a University of washington degree and thats better then any of the other schools. Still though they both are commuter schools.
