I’m curious; when a student asks in this manner, do they have no parents, teachers, friends, relatives or counselors who can review their essays?
@JustOneDad It could be too personal for the person to want others in his life reading it.
Or maybe they want a perspective from someone who doesn’t know them personally, as the adcoms don’t know them.
