Please briefly elaborate on one of your extracurricular activities or work experiences in the space below (1000 character maximum)

“Tutoring biracial Korean students in Korean language for 3 years was a worthwhile experience - it developed me into a mature, sensible young woman, and allowed me to step towards my aspiration. I have learned the importance of responsibility: as a teacher of children who were at their most vulnerable age, I learned that my role was crucial in guiding them to the right path.
Sadly, most students’ first language was not Korean. Many often forgot that they had a Korean ethnicity and did not realize the need of learning the language. My fundamental role as a Korean teacher was to make aware the significance of Korean to them, and keep their interest in learning the language and culture.
Due to the jumble of different cultures, students were often puzzled with their ambiguous identities. As a teacher, I had to provide them with extra care, assuring that they were special but valuable. Through the opportunity of working with children for an extensive period, I have understood them to a deeper extent. By thoroughly examining the childrens cognition and behaviors with passion and learning to give them helpful advice and support, I have taken a step to realize my dream of being a counselor.”

Hi, this is what I wrote for the extracurricular activity section on the common app. Can I get some feedback? Also, should I make it into one paragraph or divide into a few?
