Can summer classes hurt my chances at Cal?

I am just going to provide a brief summary of my academic scores:

10th:
AP computer science - A
Honors precalculus/math analysis - A-
Honors Chem - A-
English II - A-
European History - A-
Spanish III - B

11th:
AP chem - A-
AP english language - B
AP US History - B+
AP Calc BC - A
Honors Spanish - A-
Honors Physics - A-

so my weighted UC GPA is a 4.4166 if i calculated it correctly right? (thats after adding the 8 extra points)

well I took two summer classes in English in order to improve my writing and english abilities but since they were both college courses over the summer I got Bs both years.
That ends up making my GPA a 4.21

Can those 2 classes actually end up hurting me?

My other stats for reference are:

SAT I - M-800,V-730, W-740
SAT II - Math(2c) - 790, Chem - 740, US history - 710
APs - 5s in 4 of them, 4 in English language

Basically I wanna know my chances at Cal and whether the college courses will hurt/help/not affect my chances of getting in.

u hav a very good chance i’d say…n those english classes wont affect you much…if not at all…but then again…admissions is random…so it depends on them

Don’t be so neurotic- your chances, from this, look good. Anyway, I think the UC allows only a certain number of weighted grades to be counted. 8 might be the number. The grades from college courses count as weighted. Relax. You will probably get in, but if you don’t, you will go somehwere else and do well there.
