I’m in Logic now but I’m considering dropping it. However, I saw that there’s a section in my book devoted to grad school entrance exams and that caught my interest…

If taking Logic could help me score better on the GRE, then I’d totally continue with it.

Either take the course or don’t. You already messed around debating taking it because it might ‘ruin your GPA,’ now you’re finally in it but might drop it? Just pick something and stick to it.

That being said, it would help much more with the LSAT than the GRE. The GRE is a bumped up version of the SAT–verbal, math, and writing.

My philosophy professor advised taking a Logic class before taking any grad school exams. Whether it works or not, I have no idea, but since you’ve already registered for it, you might as well take it. You can always take it pass/fail (if your school offers it) to avoid messing up your GPA.

Yeah for now I’m gonna take it. My neighbor told me that if I get to symbolic logic and I don’t get it, then I should drop it.
