Well thats alot of what I can think of as of now. I wish i didn’t bomb my first 2 years away doing nothing but my lazyness opened my eyes and motivated me to do something and I hope admission officers see I realy want this and that I can do it.

I want to study Business Finance!!

Schools of interest: (in order)
Florida State
Syracuse
South Florida
Penn State
Rutgers
University of Tampa
and of course
UPenn haha let me have my moment

Thank you all very much for spending your time with me here and hope all the best in the future… James.

Penn State shouldn’t be a problem, especially the satellite schools (Altoona, Hazleton, etc.)
Penn State UPark would be more of a reach.

how about the rest of the schools?? i would love to go to FSU!

bumpage!!!

FSU would be tough, but take a SAT prep course and keep trying. Also consider taking the ACT. Your later course work and grading trends help.

Apply early…take summer if possible.

good for you! My daughter also has a similar trend and SATs and hopes for a good school; good luck!

when is the summer deadline to apply for fsu??

If i appled during the summer… can i still send in my october sat scores when i take it ???

One more thing if I apply in the summer can I state informaton such as proposed president of my school’s FBLA chapter for my senior year??

Florida State starts accepting applications online on August 4 for the 2009 class.

Here’s the website: [FSU Admissions | Procedures & Deadlines | Freshman](http://www.fsu.edu/students/prospective/admissions/procedures/froshpro.html)

Apply as EARLY (this means close to August 4) as possible.

Good luck!

I’m not very familiar with the selectiveness of those schools. However, re-taking your SATs will definately be beneficial and increase your chances. Aim for a 600 or above for each subject. Good luck and study hard!

but if i send my application in for the summer are my 2 SATs going to be the one’s considered or can i give them my October scores after i get them?

Syracuse, FSU and UPenn would be sort of a reach for you but bump the SAT scores significantly higher and you should have a chance.

thank you very much. I plan on getting at least a 1200 on SAT so i got to start studing! Even more would be better though! As far as U Penn well thats of course a joke but I also heard FSU is including the writing portion of the SATs now in admissions so might as well take that up! ha thank you for your time. anymore comments regarding FSU and the other schools of interest would be lovely… James
