Can the many "chance" threads please be consolidated?

So many kids request a “chance” that it clutters the Colleges and Universities forums. The chance of admission for an individual is either 0 or 100%, nothing in between, and is determined by the application process. Major is a huge influence. The overall stats apply to the entire population of applicants and not to individuals. I’ve noticed that the prominent Official UC Chance Thread has not resolved this issue.

Is there a way to set an auto-accumulator to combine all the individual “chance” threads into one mega-thread?

Someone asking about, e.g., UCSB is best served by those with collectively the most knowledge of UCSB, presumably the readers of that forum.

True. Then perhaps each subforum could have one consolidated “chance” thread.

Often the original poster will answer follow-up questions or provide more information. Not so easy to catch the thread of a conversation when there’s twenty people doing that at the same time in the same place.
