Can two colleges calculate their GPA the same way?

I been using the online GPA calculator feature on a another school website because it does cumulative as well since the one for my school doesn’t. There both are at a Scale of 4.0 and A is 4.0 ,B is 3.0, etc for both schools. My semester GPA using both were pretty much the same except mine for my school showed all the numbers instead of showing the score to number in the hundredths place. Just wonder since the semester average were basically the same using the two. I was just winder if the score I get from the other school GPA calculator would closely representing what I would get for my Circumstantial for my school. The only difference is they have A- and B+ for my school its just A,B, and C.

“I was Wondering*”

Based upon the calculator info you described, the point values are the same, but look into the “other” school’s course catalog. It should state how grades are calculated… A = 4.0, A- = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, etc.

As for hundredths vs tenths, it’s a minute issue.
