<p>I’m torn between applying for an impacted and non-impacted major. I was wondering if we could change our major on our spring update after we know our grades for fall. Anyone that applied last year know this?</p>
<p>you can’t change your major on the spring update. there’s no option for you to change your major. the spring update is only for updating classes only.</p>
<p>go for the non-impacted major, then switch into the impacted one after you’re in.</p>
<p>Exactly what xelink said - apply for the major that may up your chances then switch once you’re IN :D</p>
