either a link or a word file… or just a post. thanks.

Word lists don’t work, the best still have horrible “hit” rates. Unless you’ve never opened a book, word lists are a waste of time.

What PBailey says is true, memorizing lists of words won’t help at all, or at best only marginally. You should do practice tests and look up any words that you don’t know.

And, of course, read.

If, however, you don’t want to do that, Knowsys has a set of 555 SAT vocab flashcards that were helpful to me.

[SAT prep - Vocabulary Word lists - majortests.com](SAT Word Lists : Vocabulary Word lists for the SAT | Major Tests)

That’s the site I use. Just reading over them can’t hurt. Plus it helps you grasp patterns- Latin roots, etc.

i bought the official cb sat guide book [ about 50 pounds and a hideous blue] and typed every single word i didn’t know on a list from the actual section on vocab, and all the practice tests. want it? i already put in all the definitions though.

You should memorize prefixes, roots and suffixes.

fallin.rock… YES!!! i want it!
