Can you be accepted with an incomplete application?

<p>Let’s say a counselor forgets to fill out the CommonApp recommendation before the ED deadline, even with multiple reminders from the student. Do top universities/Ivies consider incomplete applications?</p>

<p>You are not going to lose out if your GC didn’t send out the LOR in time. They want your application (and fee) by their deadline, but the university will still consider you on time, even if your GC is late.</p>

<p>I think in general they give some extra time for recs. The parts for which you have control need to be timely</p>

<p>Common app schools definitely do allow extra time for school forms to come in.</p>
