Um, ok? Clearly I struck a nerve. I never tried to sue my institution, your reading comprehension skills suck.
@danfer91 nah man, I legit jumped the gun. But nah, my reading doesn’t suck, lol. Good one though.
The usual sequence is: academic warning then probation then gone. All should become clear ( genius or not) by spring.
But what does it matter to you unless his activities are preventing you from being able to study. Don’t throw away your college experience just because he may ( or may not ) do so with his.
@HPuck35 things are bad while I am in the room, but as long as I do work in the library or somewhere else, I am not too concerned. I will no doubt be fine, I think I just need to find a stable social group so I am in the room only to sleep and relax (I need some LO:SVU and football every once in a while, hah).
We don’t know that the roommate has a “serious problem,” or really any kind of problem at all. I watch a lot of Let’s Plays…no impact on my schoolwork. I would hope my roommate (not that I have one anymore, so done with that crap) wouldn’t go tattle to the RA just because it looks like I’m relaxing more than they are.
@bodangles yeah, not my intention to. Not gonna laugh at him, but gonna leave it be. I do acknowledge that it’s not my place to get involved, and that I should study somewhere else if the gameplay gets distracting.
