1) Nobody would think twice of a man’s exposed chest. Would a woman take an man’s bare chest as an invitation to sit down and then expose her vagina because she perceived it all as a sexual encounter?

2) Although perceived as such by people, the breasts are not meant to be sexual, but are a foodsource. In fact, in NYS, the Civil Rights Law protects the right of a woman to expose her breasts and breastfeed whereever she has a right to be, and interferrence with that right is a misdemeanor. This language therefore asserts breasts as a foodsource and thereby protects the right of a woman to expose her breasts. On other other hand, a ***** is not a foodsource and therefore its public exposure is not protected. (However, if this were another topic, I’d argue the right to public nudity).

Frankly, I don’t feel bad for the bloke. Commonsense dictates that you don’t expose yourself in public. Most women still don’t sunbathe topless in the park despite its legality.

The man should have said “Your public display of your breasts is distasteful. Could you put your top back on please? Thanks.” Just because some stranger wants to see your thing doesn’t mean you expose it without any hesitation.

I’m aware a straight man would never say that, so I was just poking fun at their amusement actually. I’m supportive of public display of breasts, even though I don’t particularly care for them (if the law bans the display of women’s breasts, so must it ban the display of men’s breasts). I’m unsure about my stance on public display of genitals and sexual acts.

Women who nurse babies in public do not also strip down topless down to their waist. That’s way too much effort for a sleep-deprived mom.

In the month of May, the most relaxing thing for a nursing mom would be a beautiful park in Columbus with a big old wall around it, no men allowed.

The original story sounds like entrapment to me.

I’m lol because I was a breastfeeding mom, but I was too shy to bare all. But there currently is a mom in the neighborhood whom is very outspoken about her right to breastfeed. Of course, I like her for this alone. (LOL). And I am somewhat amused by all of the discomfort this seems to cause. She was at my son’s birthday and proceeded to breastfeed, and she has done it at the school parties and conferences. The teacher has invited her to go to the bathroom, which has resulted in this mom spewing her rights. She’s totally within her rights.

In all fairness, he probably just thought he was gonna score in the park. Would that have been a crime?

What a waste of tax dollars. Camping the horny-innocent while ignoring the blatant street dealings/car jackings/robberies/murders/etc…that are probably going on less than a mile away.

It is NOT the norm for a woman to go topless in a public park. Let’s be real here, women’s breasts have always been closely associated with sex in western culture, and blatant display of such a sexually charged body part has been illegal in most places for hundreds of years. Ergo, women don’t commonly risk their lives getting breast enlargements in order to better breast feed. They do it in order to attract a mate, pose for playboy, compete in a beauty pageant, etc. The whole “breast feeding” argument in this thread is a red herring. This woman in the park was NOT breast feeding.

Yes, this fireman obviously wasn’t thinking with the head on his shoulders. But he was also obviously set up. Under the circumstances, his “exposure” was no more indecent than her’s.

Berliner Park is only 10 minutes or so from where I live.

It’s a place well known where people go to transact drug deals or to ■■■■■ for sexual liasons of whatever sex(es). There is almost always an undercover police presence there these days leading to a lot of entrapment cases.
