Can you come off as facile to Admissions officers?

Hi! I am a bilingual student, Spanish and English. I need to take the SAT Subject Tests, and I would really like to do well, but I don’t want the admissions officers to think that I am someone who takes the easy way out if I do the Spanish test. Is this possible? Should I choose another test instead? I am thinking of Spanish and Chemistry. Thanks in advance!

If Spanish is not a second language for you then taking and reporting the Spanish SAT subject test as one your 2 subject tests is not the best strategy for you. Take it for fun, or perhaps as your third or fourth subject test. You can always submit the score – but in addition to the other two or three subject tests.
