Can you convert ED to regular app before acceptance?

<p>My D liked college A (first choice), but applied ED (binding) to college B (second choice) due to her then non-optimal SAT I. </p>

<p>She retook the SAT and just got back her score. It improved significantly, and college A is now a match/strong match. Is is possible to convert her ED to college B to regular decision since she hasn’t been accepted yet? Would doing so “burn her bridges” with college A?</p>

<p>At this point, I think its too late, but it depends on the university…</p>
