<p>Hi, there a topic on my UWC application that i have to respond to and I’m having a hard time translating it for some reason. </p>

<p>Please describe a situation from your own experiance in which you reconized and overcame your assumptions, biases and prejudices in pursuit of greater understanding and tolerance of others or describe such a situation which continues to challange you</p>

<p>Just write about an experience that made you question any biases or prejudices you held and how you overcame them. For example, someone could write about their struggle to overcome their homophobia while working on a class project with a gay classmate or something.</p>
<p>It asks for a time when your prejudices and stereotypes about other people or places were proved false and made you more tolerant. The second option is to talk about some of those prejudices that you still believe in, and how it still makes you judge someone/something before you know them.</p>
