<p>I had a question about college recruiting. My friend who is a hurdler at my school got rejected by UCLA when he applied academically. He then decided to send a tape of him getting 2nd in CIF Sectionals and the UCLA coach said he would make a great contributing member of their track team. I was wondering if you are able to get recruited athletically through colleges but you were declined first ( like you applied with all the other non-athletic applicants )?</p>
