<p>I am currently a HS Junior and looking to major in Computer Science</p>

<p>Also, the school must offer some form of ROTC (the cross-town thing where schools share is okay)</p>

<p>Stats:
White Male
3.7 UW; 4.2 W
8 Honors Classes
7 AP’s
Predicting a 1300-1400 CR+M SAT (1900-2000 overall)
2 Academic Letters and Honor Roll each semester</p>

<p>Played Baseball freshman year
Run track and cross country currently
Train in martial arts
National Honor Society
Boy Scouts (Officer)
Boys’ State Delegate</p>

<p>So can anyone match me with a college? Disregard tuition as I’m sure I’ll find a way to pay eventually (even if it means loans)</p>

<p>Location? Metropolis/town/rural? Big/small school? Religious affiliation?</p>

<p>And you do need to take money into account, as unfortunate as it is.</p>

<p>Well, if you’re in Indiana, the obvious choices are Purdue and Indiana U.</p>

<p>I don’t want a religious affiliation. Just not my cup of tea.</p>

<p>As far as surrounding area… not rural. Preferably urban but I can live with suburban. Also, school size really isn’t an issue for me. I come from a big public school so I’m used to big classes.</p>

<p>And if I HAVE to choose a price range lets keep it under 30k tuition per year.</p>

<p>EDIT: I visited IU and wasn’t impressed with the students (seemed low-caliber) Purdue is one I’m considering and I’ll be visiting soon.</p>

<p>BillyMac is right, you can’t disregard cost since YOU will be limited to the following loan amounts…</p>

7500 jr
7500 sr</p>

<p>Once you have test scores, it will be easier to give recommendations. </p>

<p>I’m really not a picky person when it comes to choosing schools. As long as the kids aren’t a bunch of drooling idiots then I’m satisfied. (I know several kids who can’t name the first 3 American presidents. And they finished US History…)</p>

<p>Getting out of the Midwest would be nice. Maybe somewhere near the coast (either). I like warm weather.</p>

<p>Wouldn’t <30k for tuition, room, board, books basically limit me to in-state options?</p>

<p>Yeesh, I’m about to move to Florida and relax on the beach for a year so I can grab that 6k in-state tuition at UF. (I wish)</p>

<p>You said tuition under $30K, but if you already have financial concerns, you also need to consider room & board, books, etc. Except for Minnesota, NC State, and Georgia Tech, the cost of attendance for the others will be over $30K, but I don’t know what short of scholarship assistance you might be able to get from ROTC.</p>

<p>You also didn’t say what branch of ROTC, though I assumed Army.
