Can you lose your test taking skills?

Hey guys, I’m taking the SAT I this weekend… I haven’t touched a SAT Practice test since June…

The other day, I did a section of Math and Writing, while music was blasting in my ears.

19/20 Math (730 in June)
33/35 Writing (730 in June)

My previous score on the SAT I was 2030.

Can you lose your test taking skills?

Losing test taking skills and losing knowledge is different. A skill like any habit once developed is hard to lose, you might get rusty but you do not lose it. Losing your memory and knowledge of the information on the test is a different story and can and will happen after a whole summer vacation. My last SAT was MArch and I started studying since August. I did probably 1-2 sections every day since then and I’ve seen improvements. Obviously, as it’s been down to the wire i’ve been doing more sections but they are old tests and I do them again to ensure I don’t forget the math problems that I didn’t understand the first time around.
