I’m thinking about taking this semester off. But since I’m still going to be in my university’s system and have a student number and everything - can I still pledge a rush a sorority this fall? It says that I need to be enrolled in at least 9 credits, do you think they strictly enforce that? Its my second year and my college GPA is a 3.8. Do you think the fact that I won’t be registered for classes this term prevent me from pledging? Even if I’m picking everything up right back in the Spring?

Yes, you have to be enrolled to go through recruitment. You have to be a student in order to participate in sorority activities. The exception at my school is if you go on co-op.
