Can you take a cab to Nassau Street and Mercer Street?

Can you take a cab to Nassau Street and Mercer Street?

i meant, are private vehicles allowed inside Princeton’s campus?
I guess, they are.

Nassau street is the local name for State highway 27, and is the main road that runs through Princeton. Mercer street is a smaller road that branches off it. Cars are allowed on both and it gets pretty busy up there, especially during rush hour on Nassau Street.

ok, thanks

and I don’t know about mercer streeet, but you really don’t need to take a cab to nassau street; it’s literally right next to campus!

I was talking abt New York-------> Mercer Street

ohhh got it!! sorry
a cab there would be ridiculously expensive.
the train from NYC is a much better option.

So is it possible to take a cab from New Jersy station to Mercer Street?

You take a NJ Transit (or Amtrak) train from Penn station in NY to Princeton Junction station, and then a dinky train from there to Princeton station. Mercer street is walking distance from Princeton station. Or you could take a cab from Princeton Junction or Princeton station.

Ok thanks.

Don’t take a cab from Princeton Junction to Princeton. The Dinky is much cheaper.

What is a Dinky train? Is it the same as a choo-choo? Sorry, I come from a very rural area.

The Dinky is a train that goes between Princeton junction and Princeton. Once you are at the station in Princeton, you are right next to the campus, and about a five minute walk to Nassau street.
