For my senior year i plan on taking ap envi. sci. for my 3rd year science credit. Im taking adv. physics right now and will take ap bio next year (im a freshman -.-). But do i have to take chemistry for apes?

Umm… no.

However, it is preferable you don’t take APES at all and just take Chem

I don’t think the two are related…

But I do agree with Godot17 that Chemistry is a pretty highly recommended course while in HS.

I agree. You don’t need chemistry for apes. But taking chemistry is much more important than apes. Just take Chem your junior year (you should really have four years of science anyway)

APES is more like ecology-related biology.

You definitely don’t need chem for APES. At my school, most kids take APES as a freshman…it’s no hard to do at all.
