My daughter is twelve and has been coxing Masters at a local club all winter. Race season is upon us and I want to make sure she’s not risking her future NCAA eligibility by coxing Masters at races. I called the NCAA eligibility center and the person there said if she’s not getting paid she’s ok to cox Masters. She also said youth rowers could row Masters and not risk eligibility and I know that’s wrong so I don’t trust her answer. Does anyone here know better? Thank you!
Not sure who would know better than the NCAA…ask them to send you something in writing.
