<p>I just found out that CAN stands for California articulation number system. However, I’m still confused by some of the courses. </p>
<p>De Anza college’s class schedule says: CAN Info: (ARTS 4A + ARTS 4B = CAN ART 8)
Does this mean that arts 4a and arts 4b are equivalent to art 8? What is CAN ART 8 then? Is it the same thing as ARTS 8 in De anza college?</p>
<p>Here is why I have to figure out. According to the CAN info, does that mean if I take arts 4 A and Arts 4b then I will not need to take ARTS 8?</p>
