<p>So what does everyone think of Stephen Harper’s new cabinet?</p>
<p>I’m quite a bit disappointed for a few reasons…
- Emerson - I’m pretty shocked. His pre-election speeches were very anti-Harper, and the conservatives lost by a lot in his riding. He makes Belinda look like pretty damn good. Interesting double standard though - Emerson crosses, and there’s considerable scandal, but little gender-related namecalling. Belinda crosses and McKay becomes Canada’s new poster boy bachelor after resulting to sexual innuendos as insults? :S
- Fortier - a non elected cabinet member, and a senate appointment to justify it? What happened to Harper’s promises of elected senate and trying to end the patronage appointments???
- Doris Day - and on Public Safety nonetheless. I’m afraid.
- All of Mike Harris’ friends from Ontario. Oh boy, here we go. </p>
<p>I’m interested to see how this plays out. Any thoughts?</p>
