Cancel my AP scores= academic dishonest?

I took 6 Aps in my junior yr and scored mostly 5s(AP cal,Chem,Bio,and U.S History,AP Chinese) on them, but 4(Eng Lang). Okay, I bumped all of my APs during sophomore yr.(World.H, and Art). I know that I will be majoring on Computer Science and Engineering, so will those horrible scores from my sophomore cause consequences for me if I choose to delete them?
What happens to people who choose to keep up their lower AP scores if they apply to Ivy Leagues?

just checked my spelling, I meant bombed.
Oh, and for the love of God, someone please reply me back, I am nervous to death

You don’t have to send all of your AP scores in. They will never know. Why are 4’s so horrible? I reported a 4 in English Lit to Northwestern and I got accepted.

What are you talking about?! 4s are GREAT!!

Thanks for helping! My question now is what are the consequences of deleting ap scores? Does any hs student ever delete his/hers ap score?

Why would you delete a 4 or 5? These will get you course credit/exemption at lots of schools. For admission, most colleges care about the grade you received in the actual AP class since it shows rigor of schedule. AP scores are mostly for credit after you’re admitted. It does look nice when they correlate (4/5 AP = B/A in class) since, IMO, shows that the class really was rigorous and not just a GPA booster.

Overall, only around 34% of students taking AP make 4s or 5s so 4 is a great score.

Lol Are you trollling? Most colleges in the Ivy League won’t even consider your AP scores until after you are admitted, and even then it’d only be used for advising purposes (if not to even clear you some credit).

The initial post is confusing, but I think she got the 4’s and 5’s in her junior year. She also took some AP’s in her sophomore year, and did poorly on them (she does not tell us her scores). She does not want to delete the 4’s or 5’s from her junior year, but instead the much worse scores from her sophomore year.

Oh, my post was probably confusing you guys, sorry, my apologies.
I meant I took World History and Studio Art as a sophomore, I did not perform well on those 2 exams, and decide to delete the scores this year, but I am wondering what are the consequences after deleting them.
And a follow-up question, are World History, Psych. U.S History required courses in college?
If I retake the psych. and world History exams again, would there be a record saying that it’s my second time taking the test?
I will be majoring in engineering, so this year as a junior I did okay with math and science aps.
Thanks, God bless you all

Requirements depend on the college and your major. So you might have to take a semester of history (so what if you do, not a big deal), and as an engineering major you probably won’t be taking psych. Colleges really do not care about your AP exam scores, they can get you exempt from some requirements but that’s it (the only thing that matters, in regards to APs, are your grades in the class that go into your gpa). Please don’t freak out about this, it doesn’t even matter. If I were you, I wouldn’t bother retaking anything.
