Why would someone cancel their scores? I am only a sophomore and I see that they take the averages or something. So would they take the average of my SAT’s in soph and junior year? I am just really confused. Why would someone want to cancel their score?

because they weren’t feeling well when they were taking the exam or they just know that they flunked it…

So what if I got a bad score? Why would someone just cancel them? Dont colleges normally just take the highest score you get?

some take the average, some take the highest score…but still Colleges get to look at it, and maybe they’ll ask you why you did so bad. I don’t know but that’s my opinion.

According to ktvc :“they take your highest overall score if you take it 3 or less times. after that, its true, they do start to average the score.”

So seeing as how I am a sophomore do you think I have to worry about it?

well, it goes on your permanent record. I don’t see the point in taking it as a sophomore.

My parents made me :P
