Canceling an AP score after receiving it

Title says all – is this even possible? Here’s what the College Board says:

So since I’m canceling after June 15, does this mean the score will still show up on this year’s score report, but not next year’s? (I’m a rising senior btw)

Bump… does anyone have any information about this? From the wording, it seems that I can still cancel, but the score would still show up on this year’s report, although not next year’s…

Here is what is written in the AP Student Pack:

So yeah, I think your interpretation is correct. You can cancel your score and it won’t show up on next year’s score report. The number and contact info for AP Services is:

U.S. Mail:
AP Services
Advanced Placement Program
P.O. Box 6671
Princeton, NJ 08541-6671
Phone: 888-225-5427 or 609-771-7300
Fax: 610-290-8979

Courier Service:
AP Services
Advanced Placement Program

Ewing, NJ 08618-6671
(Phone and Fax are the same as above)

So if you want to cancel, send or fax them a letter (and the Student Pack says there is no fee to cancel a score).

Yeah, it seems that you can cancel it any time then, so it won’t appear next year.

Thanks fledgling for raising this question. I’ve always wanted to ask this but I was too scared.

^ You’re welcome :D

Can you cancel scores from previous years? And what do you put in the exam form and form code section on the cancellation form?

And for the signature, does it have to be my full name? Because I only put the first letter of my first name in my signature.
