<p>Does anyone know what the average student debt is at NYU? Even after (somewhat crappy) financial aid, I would still be graduating with about $60,000 in debt. And thats not with interest/inflation/increasing tuition. I love NYU, and want to go more than anything, but is going there going to kill me after I graduate?</p>
<p>I don’t know what the average student debt is but it’s got to be high. The average f/a award at NYU is around $17,000 and since the total costs are around $45,000 and climbing, you can pretty much figure out how much people are left to pay themselves, or to borrow (and of course not forgetting that much of that average award is ALSO in the form of loans which must be repaid!). So yeah, NYU = debt. It’s a given.</p>
