Hello I am very torn on where to go to college. I am not necessarily going to choose what the responses say but Im hoping I can get some good advice.
Last year I went to Principia College to play soccer. I didn’t like it too much
But I’m only paying $3,000 a semester
I transferred to The university of central Florida for this summer term but have been swamped with payments. Each
School as ups and downs for ex:
Principia offers low payments, small
Classes, and playing a sport while
With the downside of only 500 students, out of state away from my home,
(Florida) Freezing weather, away
from my Girlfriend, in the middle of nowhere and a dry campus
UCF offers 56,000 kids, a fun night life, some childhood buddies, 2 hours
From home, but costs much more due
To me not applying for in state aid as
A high schooler. My loans will be about
$590 a month after I graduate
Compared to about $250 or so. What
Do you all think?
You don’t mention academics AT ALL.
Which will better prepare you for life after soccer??
It seems to me that a school that has you “swamped in payments” is not a good choice. Loans of $590 a month for a new college graduate can be crippling. That will certainly replace a car payment, and then significantly impact your other life choices.
Why not spend some time on the computer and find a school somewhere in the climate you prefer that you CAN afford-- and that will get you an education?
Both colleges are highly ranked and have good connections
Would Principia allow you to return with the same financial awards? you need to find that out… You may no longer be eligible.
Yes I would
