Can't see the submission under my activity

I did my daughter’s FAFSA back in the fall and then she did her part. Months later, my wife got an email last week that she needs to do her part. She’s never had to do anything before. She gets her account set up after several days. When she logs in, she can’t see the form to do anything.

I logged in under my account and see the form hasn’t been submitted, so I submit it, and it says it’s missing a signature (my wife’s obviously). But there’s no way for me to go into the form to get her invitation resent or anything.

I figure it has to be done under my daugther’s account, so we log in there. And now we can only see the 24-25 form, we can’t see the 25-26 form at all. We can still see the 25-26 form under my account, but not my daughter’s or my wife’s.

In my daughter’s account, if we try to create a new form, it says there is already one active, click to go to my activity. It takes us to the my activity, but the 25-26 form doesn’t show.

What the heck is going on?

I am very sorry that this is happening to you. I would give it a couple days until the submission you just sent processes. At that point, you should be able to log back in and send a request to your wife. I was surprised this year when I did a test FAFSA because I was also asked to provide my H’s email address. We filed jointly, and I don’t understand why he would need to do anything - I don’t recall that from last year - but I didn’t do it so don’t know what he would have been asked (I just do the FAFSA so I know how it flows & can answer questions - kids are long graduated). But wait the day or two, go back in, and look at what’s being requested. Why your child can’t see it, I don’t know, to be honest. Again, check their account after your submission is processed - maybe it’ll pop back up.
