<p>Perhaps the statistic you saw was the 6-year graduation rate, which is a fairly common statistic that measures how many students graduate in 6 years. It does not mean that 81% require 6 years, but rather that over 6 years, 81% of matriculated students will graduate (some in 3 years, some in 4 years, some in 5 years, some in 6).</p>
<p>Because Case is so generous with AP credit, my sophomore son and a number of his friends already have senior standing. Right now, he thinks he will be able to complete both his BS and most of, if not all, his masters, in 4 years at Case.</p>
