Hi everyone, i have a somewhat odd question. So for those who are familiar with the Capoex website, you know that they have an admissions scattergram, showing how GPA and test scores correlated to admissions. Does anyone know how accurate this scattergram and the information on it is? Asking because i was identified as a “strong candidate” to Harvard with a 3.76.
A “strong candidate” for Harvard might mean that you have an 8% chance rather than a 4% chance. I used various online calculators, including the Cappex scattergrams when D16 was applying and none of them were accurate. The factors that get students into a school like Harvard have very little to do with their GPA or standardized test scores. Good to high GPA/SAT are required, but not sufficient.
