Yesterday, I drove out of the Starbucks parking lot and then around the building. My interview exited the parking lot from the “entrance only” side. Since I never expected for someone to exit the parking lot that way and because he didn’t even slow down before getting onto the road, I completely smashed the side of his car.

Absolutely not! If you jumped out of car and put his/her safety and well-being it demonstrates compassion etc. In a strange way this may help rather than hurt your chances. Plus the interviewer was in the wrong!
