Car-sharing program available at USF

WeCar car-sharing program hits the road at USF: [Car sharing offers USF students wheels without the hassle this fall - St. Petersburg Times](http://www.tampabay.com/news/transportation/masstransit/article1020815.ece)

This is awesome.
My whole family is low income so a car is hard to get, and this would be awesome.

Don’t forget there is shuttle bus service (Bullrun) on campus that is free. It even runs over to University Shopping Mall and by a Wal-Mart and Target a couple of blocks west of the campus. It hooks up with the city bus service too, but I never tried that. I live on campus without a car and do just fine. If you need to go off campus, there is usually a friend around ith a car willing to give you a ride.

Oh okay sweet. Is your family paying for your expenses, or are you living off of bright futures + pell grants.
How much is it costin you if I may ask?
I’m probably going to be living off of 75% bright futures (hoping to raise gpa from 3.38 to 3.5 and my sat score up). and the pell grant, which i should get close to the max.
Would that cover room and board too? IF not, i’ll just stay at my house in lakeland or get an apartment off campus lol

If you get the max Pell you will probably be eligible for other state and federal grants that will cover most of your expenses including tuition, books, room and board. Plus work-study and subsidized loans are available if needed. My family helps me for sure, I am working full time this summer for money and I get some scholarships and grants. Make sure you complete your FAFSA early. I think most students are surprised at what is available. One thing I think USF’s financial aid office could do better is tell you earlier what you qualify for rather than surprising you kinda late.

will do. i’ll need all the aid i can get. :D

I saw a flyer for campus transporter. anybody ever use them to get to south florida? how are they?
