car transported across USA--anyone have a company they liked?

Our S is hoping to buy his grandparents car and have it transported from TN to WA.
I am hoping someone here has transported a car and may have some advice as far as a company. THANKS!!!

I think this is the guy we used from CA to the northeast. Car picked up and delivered as promised, good price and all questions answered.

The only thing to know is that sometimes the giant transport trucks can’t navigate narrower neighborhood streets. Sometimes they’ll pick up in a smaller vehicle, we went out to meet the truck in a larger area, for delivery- ask about that. We had no complaints.

THANKS!! Really would like some info like this!

If it is an older car, you might be able to find someone who would drive it. Some people may do it for free so they don’t have to pay for the bus ticket, etc. There are insurance issues.

We did this several times. I don’t recall company we used, but look for a thread about two years old.

S just had his car moved by Reindeer [reindeer // real.personal.service.](http://www.reindeerauto.com/) - they did a good job - it got there at least! It was part of relocation so he did not shop around though.

We recently used Cascade Auto Transport (found via Transport Reviews.com cited above) to transport a car from the East Coast to California and were very happy with them.

Again, thanks I am going to use your information. Better to get some first hand information than guessing!

We used Montway transport to ship a car via open carrier from the east cost to Los Angeles. They picked it up within a few days and got it cross country in about 3 days. We handled everything via internet, and were happy with our experience. They even let us fill up the trunk with stuff for my D even though we were theoretically limited to two suitcases.
