What is the appropriate limit for this?

We are having a car wash (funding for a school club) next week, and we were just discussing what to wear for this occasion.

The last time I was in a car wash was in 8th grade. We weren’t allowed to wear bathing suits let alone bikinis. Now, we don’t wanna look like kindergarteners but we don’t want to disgust people too much, either. What would be appealing yet appropriate?

I wore board shorts and a t-shirt when I’ve done mine.

shrugs But don’t forget suntan lotion!
And have fun! hehe

Why would wearing bathing suits “disgust” people?

At any rate, I’d say it depends on where you live. If you live in a liberal coastal California town, bathing suits and flip-flops will work fine and will be most practical. If you live in a conservative town in Utah, shorts, T-shirts and sports shoes may be in order.

Don’t forget to wear plenty of protective lotion and to drink plenty of fluids!

well i AM in the coastal california, but the place we’re holding it there may be some older people.

so bikinis do fine?

wear short levi shorts… ripped shorter up the sides… a bright pink bikini top with a white shirt tied in the back to hop it up above your belly button. The bright pink attracts people, and the short shorts makes guys want to tip you!

yeah i have hot pink bikini top. as for the white shirt it’s like see-thru anyway so i guess that’s good…

for shorts i got really short shorts but it’s not jeans. plus i think jeans will be too heavy if we get really wet.

wear daisy dukes with the bikini bottom underneath… it’s much more of a tease, which makes guys go nuts…

daisy dukes it is, then.

other girls are leaning towards skirts but i figured id be running around a lot.

Daisy dukes and bikini tops work fine. Don’t forget the sun protection and drinking water now.

Ah to be young again! hehe!!! Man I miss my summers!

no white shirt, then?

The white shirt is a plus… it will help keep the sun off of you, and when it gets wet it will be all that much sexier, IMO.

but i would have bikini tops beneaeth it anyway!

gosh, she’s washing cars, not trying out to be a stripper!

i don’t see how a good old shirt&pants can’t do it.

shorts, bikini bottoms underneath, bikini top, t-shirt.

seriously wear the tshirt. even when it gets wet keep it on. have some modesty. it’s a car wash, but when girls cheerleading teams have them, they always look slutty. no offence, just don’t look like a skank. which will be hard to do when you’re soaked, but at least attempt to.

this isn’t for the cheerleaders but out of twenty people 12 are girls and 9 of them are from the cheerleading team. including me, that is.

so here it is:
lots of water
sun block lotion
hot pink bikini top w/ white shirt
bikini bottom w/ daisy dukes shorts

any more suggestions?

If it’s really cold out and you wear a swimsuit, lots of old ladies will come.

At least in my experience…

why?

and i don’t think it’ll be cold, though…it’s gonna be really hot according to the weather cast.

i just found out that we’ve changed the location of the car wash. it’ll be held near a community college (our school’s too small and will never host anything  ). i’m sure those college students have some dirty cars, so i guess we’ll be pretty busy.

nothing at all…nothing at all…nothing at all

^ I was about to say that.
