I have a question. On my car I have black little dots that aren’t chips. I also have rust looking spots in that its orange and what not on the outside. If I rub these spots with enough soap and effort, they come off…but it takes about two minutes. Could someone explain to me what these spots mights be? They’re equivalent to points left by a ball point pen. How can I get rid of them with less effort?

The little black dots are probably bugs or tar. The orange dots could be paint from the road, or just something else that’s orange and splattered on the car. It’s not a huge deal. To get them off, you might try using a pressure hose to blast them off. Personally, I’d take off what I could and let the rest go, unless it looks really bad.
