<p>Did anyone (parents) send or did any students receive the Care Packages through Cornell’s Residential Student Congress?
Were they worth receiving or would it be better to send your own?</p>
<p>We did. Our daughter didn’t really eat any of the things that came but she enjoyed being thought about. The advantage is that once you sign up, you don’t have to remember any special dates to send something.</p>
<p>My parents sent me the care packages my 1st year at Cornell. I ate some of the goodies then ended up leaving them in the lounge for others. After that…my mom sent her own packages which were 1,000,000 time better :-)</p>
<p>heck…anything with homemade mini pumpkins pies is better than a hershey bar!</p>

<p>My mom used to have a wedding cake business on the side a few years ago…it was awesome, but bad for my waistline :-)</p>
