<p>I just want to know if I’m heading in the right direction for a double digit score on my essay. It’d be nice if you can evaluate it and give any suggestions/tips. I’ll be taking my first SAT in Jan 2010.
Here’s my intro.</p>
<p>Prompt: Is it important to question the ideas and decisions of people in positions of authority?</p>
<p>Throughout human history, people have been taught since they were little that they obey the laws and respect the decisions of people of authority. However, people’s own beliefs should not be ignored in the higher ranks. As the Transcendentalism movement, the film Pleasantville, and the book Fahrenheit 451 demonstrate, it is important to question the ideas and decisions of people of authority when voices aren’t being heard.</p>
