I’ve looked into Engineering, Business School, Law school. Every field has long hours and require dedication and you need to enjoy your work since my all friends who are in each of these fields say that they will require you to work more than you are supposed to and that you have to enjoy what you do, otherwise you will not rise in ranks.

How do I find what I like?

You’re right to be thinking in terms of finding a career you love. As the director of the Career Center at Duke, I can tell you that most first year students at predominantly liberal arts colleges are actually pretty clueless about their ultimate direction. That’s actually a good thing, because the way you find what you want is by exploration–both in your courses and your internships/jobs. The worst way to make a decision about a career is to decide solely on salary potential, or because it’s one a few careers you (or your parents) think is suitable.
