<p>So Film directing has been something Iv thought about in the past, But to me it was just a dream, which I rarely say about a career i think about. usually when i think about a career i automatically picture my self being successful. But with film directing i think its a just a dream, until recently now you may see from my previous posts that iv thought about medical school, majoring in physics and becoming a scientist iv thought about everything and i am still trying to decide what i want to do for the rest of my life, i know i have a passion for movies and theater, and i would love to be the one to make and write them and make them, I started thinking maybe i should pursue film but I want to know all of the pros and cons, I don’t have any experience film making iv never even made a short film on a camcorder, Watching and appreciating theater is just something iv always loved to do for me. But my only draw backs are, What is the diversity of film directors, are there any African American “successful” film directors in the industry, how would i start, how would i advance, how would i make money. I really need somebody to break down being a serious film director to before i decide to switch my major and commit. Please somebody with some knowledge please help me. </p>
